Try this fix for now until I can get 0.9.1 out.

I'm thinking about it more...

Go to your plugin management page and make sure all of your modules upgraded. If they didn't, hit the upgrade button (especailly next to phplayers) and it should start working again.

The fix link above doesn't appear to exist any more.

I just had the same problem so I clicked the upgrade link for PHPLayers and the menu was restored.

Unfortunately it was restored with all the default installation pages in the menu as well and they appear unnumbered in the "Content Management" window. Removing them was a right b*tch because I had to delete the children objects first and then set another default page for home.

Now I have multiple pages marked as 1 and no amount of re-arranging with the up/down arrows seems to fix the problem.

This is sadly a production site and I have two more to upgrade in the same manor so a fix for this would be much appreciated.

Please refer to this link to see the menu in action. All children fall under a single menu item.

UPDATE

By repeatedly clicking the down arrow on a page you can increase its order number, irrespective of how many pages there are in the site. Repeating this step for each page in the site except the one you want ranked at position 1 will eventually provide a fix for this upgrade issue.
