Adding a single image to a (mainly text) menu

Good morning CMS gurus.

I have seen threads about using images in a menu, but I think my question is slightly different.

I am using a vertical menu on my site and currently have 7 items in it, I would like to include a single image within the menu, rather than using text, so I will have 6 text menu items and one image menu item.

Is this at all possible? and more importantly....how?

Kind Regards

IMHO there are some ways but the easiest would be to define the image menu entry as top level and the others as sub levels. Then you must format the sublevels only same like top level. But now you can define an image for the one (top level) entry  ;) ...

Cyberman.

Thanks for a very prompt response.

I think I get that, but be ready for many more stupid questions when I realise I have completely misunderstood your answer.

hello, it's me again.

I got totally lost on those instructions....which was no surprise to me...but no reflection on your suggestions!

However, I think I have found an alternative way of doing this embedded image doo-dad.

in the menu_text field I typed:

basically "I think" i have done a bit of sneaky "html injection", I doubt if that is even a phrase, but I have a background in SQL so have come across SQL injection before and it seems a good enough explanation.

Anywho, do I get a prize ?
