Seeking Module Developer for AJAX Schedule Calendar

I am seeking an experienced developer to create an AJAX Schedule Calendar. I have a client that is currently using a giant table to maintain a monthly schedule for employees and special events. It is a code mess and I would dearly love to replace it with an elegant solution. The focus is to make this calendar as easy to use for the client as possible, part of that is the ability to add events directly and quickly from the grid view.
Required features:
- easy click to add/edit from the calendar view
- create & manage event groups (group name and color code)
- filter view by groups
- create agenda and list views (and ability to filter by group)
- restrict event add/edit to backend users only
- lock event to prevent editing (a checkbox to prevent accidental overwriting)
- repeating events
- print view
Useful but Not Required Features:
- publish schedule as rss feed
- copy entries in selected group and date range to specified date (ie so they can easily copy the volunteer group schedule from May to June)
There is an open source calendar that I feel will be a great starting point: http://www.web-delicious.com/jquery-eve ... dcalendar/
Possibly this will also grab dates of approved tours scheduled through a request form/ticket system. The tour request system presents a public form on the site which collects the desired date and other information. This will create a record in the DB and send an email to the form manager for review who will either approve, or suggest disapprove and escalate to next level for ultimate approval or rejection. It will then email the response the user. That's the plan anyway, I am in the planning stages for it so if you have a desired way to handle it to make it easy to include the tour data in the calendar I welcome it!
Please PM with questions and email contact if interested.
Thank you,
Alane
