For me to add a facebook widget/script to a sidebar I turn off WYSIWYG and submit. If I go back into that page and and click submit again (say to add content to the main part of the page) WYSIWYG changes the code and breaks the script.
I've had this problem for a while but its not been a problem I just redo the code. the problem I have now is I want to allow newb users to edit there own page so this isn't viable anymore.

Is there a way for me to stop WYSIWYG from changing it. Each page has its own facebook.

First of all: upgrade your CMS - version 1.9.4.1 is already available. And not without reason.
Then you may try to put your code in an HTML block and put a link to that block in your page. Once you created the HTML block you won't have to touch it anymore, and links to HTML blocks are not affected by TinyMCE.
