Statistics 1.13 doesn't show currently active visitors

Hello
I've got a site which is running CMSms 1.82 (yes, I know, I'll upgrade when I have some time
). I recently had time to upgrade some of the modules, though, one of them being Statistics: from 1.10 (I think) to 1.13. After installation, I checked to see if everything was working OK, which it seemed to be.
However, yesterday I came to notice that although the module is counting the visitors, the 'currently active visitors' part in the summary and the 'currently online visitors' part in the visitors bit both show 'none'.
I did a search of the forum and found this thread, which I thought might hold the answer, but it didn't: at least for me.
I've since reinstalled the module, but the same thing is happening.
Has anyone else had the same problem? And solved it?
