Am I allowed to use a default templates on my homepage?

Hi!
I am a new CMS Made Simple User and have just installed it on my new homepage. After playing around a little I found that one included menu layouts and the default template was really good looking and I want to use it on my homepage.
But what are the conditions for this? Am I allowed to change the logotype and put something own there? Can I remove the copyright notice after changing the text on the pages to something own? I will leave "Powered by CMS Made Simple" at the bottom of the page but I want to add some own copyright notice of my own content.
So what are the guidelines for editing default templates?
If I change anything I must supply all the changes as open source (I mean when adding content or modifying the layout of the page, I am not changing the php-programs)? Can I modify it as much as I want?
Here is my homepage right now: http://ronnylov.se
As a start I just want to replace the top image with my own logo (or perhaps just remove it) and add my own copyright notice at bottom and of course I will add my own content eventually...
