problem with pretty urls if pagename matches actual folder in cmsms installation

Don't know if this has been noticed before, but...
I just enabled pretty urls on a default install of cmsms with content, and interestingly, went to the "Extensions" menu item, then choose "Modules" under that menu item.
That page stub happens to be modules, however, there is also a "modules" directory in the cmsms install. So I got a blank page, corresponding to the blank index.html that exists in the modules directory of the install.
Is there any way around this, other than not naming your pages the same as any of the directories in cmsms?
If there is no way around this, perhaps the index.html in each of those directories should contain instructions to the designer to change the page slug for that content page so that it doesn't match the directory name.
