Disabling session cookies for unauthenticated access?

Hi,
Is there a clean way to stop CMSMS from setting CMSSESSIDxxxxxxxx session cookies for unauthenticated site visitors?
My site is so simple that, unless I log in to the Admin pages, the session cookies serve no purpose.
Of course, session cookies are totally harmless. But for my site they are unnecessary, and some stupid people like to complain about them. So it may be better to disable the cookies, than to work out how to comply with the silly new EU Cookie Directive - see http://out-law.com/default.aspx?page=11807 - which becomes effective in the UK from 25th May (unless it is postponed, which would not surprise me).
Thanks!
- Martin
