TinyMCE does not encode filenames properly

We have images with spaces and ampersands in filenames. Renaming them is not the best option.

The problem is that when a user adds an image to a page spaces are not encoded while ampersands are. They work well in browser but Html Validator (in Firefox) shows warnings on those pages. This confuses people who maintain the site as some pages are validated, some not.

I have tried Encoding of entities setting but it does not help. We're running CMS 1.9.4.1 (updated few times) with standard TinyMCE module.

With out renaming the images there isn't much that can be done, they can be renamed in file manager...
