http://www.hotsoup.co.uk/cmstest/index.php for a quick check. It's currently running in my own webspace, but I've got to move it to the school's webserver, which is running W2K SP4, that's why the site's not completely finished. My next problem is how to move it!

Hi moving it should not be a problem
there are a couple of ways one way is to install a new copy on the new site and dump out the database and then import it back into the new site
you will aslo have to copy of the images from your uploads/images directory as well
to dump the database you can use phpmyadmin if you have on the server you are on and select export and also select drop tables option and export it that will make a file that will downlaod like database.sql.gz if you selected selected gzip option
then go to the new site then run phpmyadmin slelect your datbase and then import or SQL and browse for that file and it will recreate the database with your old data
there is also a tool in the forge that allows backups but I can't get to that for some reason at the moment to tell you the name of that

Looks very nice

- but you should adapt the footer to the theme ...
My next problem is how to move it!
Should be not a problem for real - please look on wiki:
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... New_Server
But there are some better to handle alternatives too. Please look at these modules:

thanks to all. I was coming to the footer in my own time until the headmaster sent out a newsletter yesterday saying that the new site would be up and running in the next 2 weeks, this is I've got to rush this onto the school server.
