The drop down menu appears under the text

I have tried removing the left menu and still the drop down appears under the text

fixed it? how?
i had that same thing before but could not remember how i fixed it, hence no advice to you, sorry...

I hade to create the column in html
When ever I insert a CSS that creates columns it also creates the text under menu effect

I also lost the style (see inside the galleries section) it used to call but know if I place {cms_module module='menumanager' template='ellnav-vert.tpl' number_of_levels='0' start_level='2' collapse='1'} within the div's I don't see any menu on the left

Any way working on it
