Hi all,
I've noticed that with the navigation on the site, strange files are created, for each page viewed, in the root of my website.
e.g.
6beee4e489dc85fd79c7d55e29509e0f (3B file)
The content of the file is a number: e.g. 0,4
I've no changed the configuration recently (it's the same of the setup). Can you suggest me what could be happened?
Thanks for your support.
Regards,
Longo

Right. Im' sorry and apologize for the post.
I'm running a site based on 1.7 cms version. The PHP version is 5.2.17. The MySQL version is 5.0.91.
The site was simple and working good, so i decided to not update it. Tonight, browsing the remote directories to upload some file, i noticed the strange files said above.
I noticed some change on the template (a long list of links on the footer). So now i'm sure that the site was hacked.
Sorry again for the post. You can delete it

Download anything you may have put added, like files in uploads/ etc., including your config.php, delete everything of the site, upload a fresh unpacked folder/files form the version you have, 1.7 in your case, upload it to your site, add the folders/files you DL earlier, your upload files/folders, config.php etc. and you should be good...
Now upgrade to 1.9.3 as there was a vulnerability in the 1.7.* version...
