CMS Made Simple Forums

Dear All,

I have been using the CMSMS for a whole day and is very happy with it. But I don't know why every time I add a new category to the news module, it just shows

"The category was successfully added."

and then there is actaully NO category added.

Since I have not installed any templates or example when installing the CMSMS, I don't even have 1 single category that is available now, and hence no article can be added. Can anyone tell me what I can do know

You need to give more info on what version what you did on install, etc., etc...

I am hosting the website in the xampp environment (MySQL + PHP5) and using the CMSMS 1.9.2 "Tevairoa", which is downloaded yesterday only
There is no error message nor warning, I know how to use debug software such as firebug or Web Developer but then I just can't really figure out where the problem is

I've never had this problem, maybe try installing it again with default content...

The strange part is that when doing no default content it should have installed one article and General category in News as it is supposed to have that on home page...

Same problem here, I'm using WAMP and mysql 5.5.8.
I did a fresh install but I can't create any categories/fields/articles.
It says its successfully created but it looks like it didn't create anything.
