i start translating cmsms to farsi(persian) and i complete some sections, now i have 2 questions:
1)when i change the language to persian,top menu children (such as 'global setting' and 'admin log' under 'SiteAdmin')will be too wide !!!(as wide as the whole page!)
2) how i can find out that what is the language in a specified page, i mean does any parameter set that i can read it?

You mean admin translations?

Forgive my ignorance but how can "admin log" get translated to be so long?

user preferences has info about which language user has selected, but you dont actually need to check it to do translations. system will take care on translating all pages if user has selected another language.

and please use translation center when doing translations so they will be included in next release (you need to create user in the forge (dev.cmsmadesimple.org) and register new translation project.

thanks for being so fast.exactly! my problem is that the translations dont get too much long but the menu gets too wide!!
and about my second question, i dont want to know the language in order to translate !i need it because i want to change the direction of tables and etc. according to the language . because in persian i should set the direction to "right to left".any other way?
