newsletter subscription

folks,
I'd like to have something like this on my site:
* have site visitors type their email into a text box and be automatically subscribed to newsletter
* send subscribed users an email with subscribe/unsubscribe info a link to update their profile.
What will be the easiest way to do this in cmsms?
I'm using version 0.13
