Decent FAQ or Q&A module?

Oh howdo

I'm looking for a decent FAQ or questions and answers module.

I want to display a unique list of questions and answers for each page (ideally so that I can edit it in Edit Page, but a separate module will be okay if it's the only solution).

I've tried the Questions module but the module doesn't actually display anything except for a row of tabs (Questions, Categories, Form Templates, Summary, Templates, Detail Templates, Preferences) but nothing happens when I click them. Faulty module maybe.

Looking forward to any thoughts!

Thanks

Romano

Questions works for me on CMSMS 1.9.1.

What version of CMSMS are you running? Did you install from MM or via FTP?

Hi mate

I'm running CMSMS 1.8 so I'll try upgrading and see if that solves my problem.

I installed it from Module Manager. Just tried uninstalling/reinstalling Questions again but still the same problem.

It doesn't require that CGSimpleSmarty module to work does it? The reason I ask is because the guy who wrote this module always seems to use CGSimpleSmarty for some reason.

Do you also have an example site with the Questions module in use? I'd like to be able to see it in action

Thanks

Romano

I don't have a working public example - sorry!

According to the Questions module Help, it requires CGExtensions, but not CGSimpleSmarty.
It's worth noting that Questions is authored/maintained by Calguy, who also authored/maintains CGExtensions AND CGSimpleSmarty (now you can see where the "CG" comes from.)

I managed to get Questions working by upgrading to 1.9.2... little did I know this version has some annoying issues (http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 98#p243598)!

But yeah, I needed to upgrade to 1.9 anyway. The module is okay, works quite well but it looks like it needs some kustom tuning.
