How to remove initial default 'intro/post install' pages?

Hi
I installed on my localhostserver and can view a page saying installation complete & read these default help pages.
Now I want to remove the default help pages but cannot see how to do this.
(I have installed a new theme which I have set as default but I still have the 'intro page' with help guide pages & want to remove but it is not SIMPLE as how to do this!).

I am most grateful for helpful replies on how to fix this-many thanks

Actually it is very simple:

If you want to remove the default content, log in to your admin, go to 'pages', select all pages and select delete in the pulldown menu, how simple do you want it?

Thanks for the helpful replies.
I have now deleted those pages and a bunch of other pages and now the template Dark Blue shows as home page which is the appearance I wanted.

I would like any editing to be very simple and so a simple note to explain this on the introductory home page view after install would make this clear how to do it and be as simple as I would like!

I presently have some strange message in DarkBlue theme, in and escaping from the sidebar:
string(80) "Smarty error: unable to read resource: "module_db_tpl:MenuManager;list_children""

Thanks and best wishes

I do not understand why you use the word 'simple' so much in your posts. What are you trying to say?

I understand that you expected something so easy even a frozen fishstick could use it, but as with so much things in life, you just have to do some effort and things will explain them self.

The editing of a page is actually very simple. You have just learned how to remove pages, but if you would have read those pages you'd have known how to adjust your new website to your needs.

Thanks for your further reply.
I did read the pages and searched on the forum posts to find the information I needed to have the theme display without those pages.
I managed to install a new theme but then as I could not find the answer to deleting the help pages, I posted here for help, all of which was some effort. Life is anything but simple but that is another matter (and what have frozen fishsticks to do with editing CMSMadeSimple?).

Do you know what the error message is I posted & how I can fix that please?

(i.e. string(80) "Smarty error: unable to read resource: "module_db_tpl:MenuManager;list_children"").

Best wishes

The theme you installed has a MenuManager template (list_children) that needs to be installed or activated.

Hi Jeff
Thanks for your helpful reply. I tried to fix this but it still remains and I don't understand it and do not have time to keep fixing problems.
I wanted to get set up with my content quickly, easily and simply.
I think I will have to try another CMS. I have spent too long trying to set this up I'm afraid!
Best wishes

We have all tried another CMSes, and you may or may not trust me on this, but CMSMS is as simple as it gets. Other CMSes will bite you somewhere else.

Any simpler is a website builder, or a template-based website. But you will have none of the power and flexibility of CMSMS when you will need it (in the future as the site grows and you want more and more features).

This really is the easiest CMS that I have tried. Every once in awhile I cheat on CMSMS and play with a hot younger CMS. But I feel dirty and come back and plead for forgiveness. :)
