Good day!
I have encountered a few problem after upgrading from 1.8.2 to 1.9.2. Here's what appeared in the site:
Notice: Modification of internal data is deprecated: myname in /home/piang28/public_html/lib/classes/class.cms_variables.php on line 46
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/piang28/public_html/lib/classes/class.cms_variables.php:46) in /home/piang28/public_html/index.php on line 254
Anyone having an idea? I temporarily reverted back to 1.8.2. Thanks guys and happy new year!

After upgrading did you look in module manager to see what other modules needed upgrading, some of the modules like CGExtensions need to be upgraded when going from 1.8.2 to 1.9.*...

Dr.CSS i cant upgrade the CGExtensions and other modules meant for upgrade. Whats wrong with my procedure? From admin window -modules, i uninstalled it, then tried to delete the folder CGExtensions under Module using the CPanel but it cant be. The upgrade file downloaded cant be extracted either. Am I missing something here?

You are missing write permissions on /modules.

Yeah I know that. But why is it that I cant change the write permission using the file manager of cPanel?
/home/piang28/public_html/modules/CGExtensions chmod failed: Operation not permitted in /home/piang28/public_html/modules

If neither the cPanel's file manager nor an FTP client can change permissions, then you need to call your hosting provider. You pay them for support.

Go to Forge from the cmsmadesimple.org website Development>Forge. Find the module. Download the .xml file. Go to Module Manager from your admin panel. On the botton, install from .xml file and check to overwrite old versions.

There's no such install button under the Module Manager. Am still using 1.8.2 right now. Anyway im still discussing this issue with my host.

What Replytomk3 means is, go to
the CMSMS Forge, select the module you want/need, go to the tab 'files' and download the .xml file.
Then go to your CMSMS admin. Go to "extensions" -> "modules", scroll down and upload the .xml you've just downloaded. (Select 'overwrite old versions')
