I simply want to upload a template but I am not having any luck.

The template url is:http://opensourcetemplates.org/preview/green-hosting/

The template comes as a zip file and when I upload that file under the template manager, it always has an error. I do not understand why we can not just upload a zip file which would make things a lot less stressful.

I tried the instructions on http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Download_Themes.html

Theme manager uses XML files not zip, if you follow the instructions on that site it tells you how to use a zip file...

If it isn't specifically a CMSMS theme, you can't just upload it and use it. You will have to manually convert it.

I think that those templates have been written generically for any website, but it shouldn't be too difficult to convert.  Do you need someone to look at it for you?
