Need help giving one user access to only ONE page!

I am setting up a page for teachers and need to give teachers only access to their individual pages. Someone posted a topic that said to create a group called "teachers" and I did, but I have to give them "modify all pages" access or it wont let them do any pages.
Can someone give me detailed instructions on how I do this?
Thanks,
MJD

Well, you could create the page first, as administrator, and then click the appropriate name in the "Additional Editors" list, then only the admin, and that one teacher would be able to edit that page.
And make sure that the teachers group doesn't have "Modify All Pages" permission.
I haven't actually tried it, but that should work.

i believe you need to make them Owner of that page, because if you set, "the teachers group doesn't have "Modify All Pages" permission" then no one but the admin shows up, setting them as owner, the admin still has edit permissions as additional editor...

I set the individual as owner or a page but not belonging to any group. When i log in as that teacher, the only thing that shows up is Calendar for Content. I left as owner of page, then added to a group(editor), but had to select the "modify all pages" but then that teacher got access to all pages.
any thoughts?
thanks

create group "TeachersName" group gets "modify all pages" NO Check
create user "Teachers Name" the only "modify all pages" permission they will have is the groups
every "Teacher" the same...
