This is a site I made with CMS Made Simple, the website is actually just one page. The buttons show different DIV's.

Looking very good!, question: are these occasions connected to other automotive advertisement websites for example: autotrader, autoscout...?

Very well done. Just one question: Is each block of content a separate content-block in CMSMS? And did you use modules as well? Does the customer maintain the site himself? Sorry for being so nosey but I am always interested in how websites work.

Nils

@realrock. Yes the ocassion part is using an exported XML list from Hexon's WheelerDelta.
@nils73. Yes the customer maintains the website himself. The 'pop-ups' are seperate pages in CMS. The main page contains content-blocks. The pop-up with rims/wheels is using the 'Gallery' module.

Thank you for your reply. I guess I would have done the same but I have to admit that you did a great job! Well done. How many websites did you do with CMSMS? If this is getting too far, just answer via direct message.
Regards
Nils

Thank you!
I have done several with CMSMS. I think it is the better of all Content Management Systems.
Some of the sites done with CMSMS:

http://www.jakkosport.nl

Very nice work, Brandt. I like the single-page aspect - each 'page' appears to load quickly and the way you've used the pop-ups to provide product details makes me want to click each box to see what will happen - good interactivity!
Cheers,
Penny

Would search engines think it's one page or many?

Search engines do not "see" images, scripts or css. Deactivate images, scripts and styles in your browser and you will see how the page is viewed by search engines. It is definitely a one page.

Sonya, it's just what I thought. So the value of such a website to a search engine is slightly above a flash based website. And of course, future modifications will be hard. So I'll pass on this idea, no thanks.

That's not true. Flash is not good because you use a closed file, the flashfile, so a Googlebot can't read the content. If you have one HTMLpage a Googlebot will read the whole page and it will follow its links. You can Google 'Jakkosport' and see what happens.
Jakkosport is a singlepage website aswell.

You don't get
http://www.jakkosport.nl at the top in Google?

Brandt. No, I am not in Netherland and my browser language is different from Dutch. When I google for Jakkosport, I get suggestions like:
Meinten Sie: Jako Sport Die ersten 2 angezeigten Ergebnisse
So I was not sure what website have you meant.
Now, I have seen the website. As I have assumed, there are 7 pages in Google found. The start page is OK. Other pages are just incomplete parts of the the whole homepage, like http://www.jakkosport.nl/index.php?page=tennis . The page in the last example only makes sense if it is called in modal window of the start page. Found in Google "alone" it does not offer any navigation or further crawling. This is a serious impact on SEO. However, I agree to you that this is still better than Flash.
Additionally, this is not a real single page. Single page means, that the whole content is found on one single URL. Jakkosport is spread over at least 7 pages. Modal window is the same as good old frames website with all its SEO "incompatibility".
Real single page website has one URL with some anchors, e. g.
http://mysite.com/#service
http://mysite.com/#contact
http://mysite.com/#about-us
http://mysite.com/#policy
and so on...
See the website in the first post of this topic as an example. If you switch off CSS and JavaScript, you will be able to see the whole content. It does not apply to Jakkosport.
