FCKEditor and SelfLink in .12 "Fuji" with the security patch

Hello CMS Made Simple Forum,
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
I'm using 0.12 "Fuji" with the recomended security patch.
I've created quite a few pages of content without using FCKEditor and used the cms_selflink tag.
Later, when another editor opens the page using FCKEditor, the cms_selflink tags break.
Here's the particulars:
This link >> contact (as per the last line of the man page)
Turns into >> contact
Also, if I make the link using FCKEditor, it doesn't use the same numbering/naming strategy used elsewhere in CMSMS.
When created using the CMSMS Linking utility in FCKEditor, the link comes out like this:
Contact which is a valid link.
The link doesn't match to the page's position in the site, (1, 2, 2.1, etc.) nor the name or alias of the page "contact". I'm assuming page=40 is the Mysql record that pertains to this page (???)
My workaround is to create links in all content that will be edited later using FCKEditor so the links don't break.
Thanks for everything,
You all are the best.
Cheers,
OKParrothead.
