Hello,
I,m running Cms made simple 1.9
Using template  ShadowMenu Tab + 2 columns.
How can i remove or reduce light  grey block at the top of every pages ,right below printer icon
?

You can edit template and associated CSS under "Layout->Templates" or "Layout->Styles" tab in administration.

I know i can edit it but my question is HOW?
what code(s) tags  should i edit to effect the change?

Here are a couple of pointers:

First, you download this wonderful tool to investigate how your page is built up and find out which name the class or id, which you want to change, has.


Then, you read this very good documentation which will help you to understand how any (and therefore yours too) page is built up.

Last but not least, you read this documentation which will help you find the right parameter to give to you class/id to make it do what you want.

It's so dead easy, if you're not scared to read a little bit or be afraid to try something yourself
