Play module problem

Hi all
I have just installed the Play module into a new version os CMSMS 1.8.2 and the players won't appear. I have done exactly the same in an older version 1.7 and I get the players fine. I have sourced the location of the players in the backend and can see them there but they just won't appear in the new version.
I maybe wrong but is there anything else you have to do apart from uploading 'play' to the module section?
Anyone have a similar experience or know a workaround?
