I want to know if this concept is possible.

I want to add content and build pages on a specific sub niche , and then i want to take a summary of that content and image  associated with that page and display a series of them on a niche page in a structured way, then take a excerp of that summary and display it on a another page. In a simular way to how apple does there website.

ie the niche may be graphic design, and then the sub niches could be business cards, flyers, mail drops, etc. So the sub niche page is all about business cards, and the niche page has all the products displayed, and automatically adds new content when sub niche pages are added. If preferable the niche page would display it as left image/ right content , then below is the next subniche displayed content / right image, and so on.

The front page displays a excerp (teaser) of the info

Preferably i want to do this automatically rather than build it each time.

Is this possible?

You should look at ContentDump plugin, this could help you to achieve what you are trying.

You may also want to look into the News module, it has summary and detail views and categories...
