When I have TinyMCE enabled and I go to edit a page, the interface does not show.

The small checkbox to toggle on and off does show but the whole tinyMCE does not show.

Version 1.8.2

I have looked at firebug to see if there is some Javascript crazy going on.

Happens on Multiple browsers on multiple machines, done some searching and nothing really pops out as the the solution.

I have uninstalled and removed the TinyMCE module, then I have re-installed using the XML from the dev area. Still no go...

I don't even get the tinyMCE edito to work in the Admin Modules TinyMCE configurator preview.

Try to change permission for your module folder.
It could be 777 or 755.

checked and doubled checked. module folder is 777

You could try to change it to 755.

I will try that but I am 99.9% certain that won't do anything, unless tinyMCE has some sort of file permission checking going on before it instantiates.

nope 755 777 both don't work.

I got the Yahoo rich editor working and I am able to do cool tricks over what TinyMCE did. Might share that code later.

There are many post on this, good chance just hitting the Reset all settings to default button in the advanced tab of tiny interface will work or go to modules > extensions and uninstall it then in same page install it...
