Solved: Sites dont start anymore, Parse error: index.php on line 64

Both my CMS websites on the same ISP  stopped working today with the same message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /mnt/weba/32/48/51939648/htdocs/xxxx/index.php on line 64
where xxx is the name of the website.

The WP blogs on that ISP still work.

I can still access the admin backoffice, so the database is accessible. , I can manage the databases with phpmyadmin, files are all there, no new files. CMSMS System information checks all ok. CMSMS 1.7.1, PHP  5.2.14  MySQL 5.0.89 And both sites equally effected?

Any suggestion? Did my ISP update PHP or MySQL and cause this?

I might just upgrade to the latest and greatest to see if that helps?

If you still have 1.7.1 folders/files on your computer try uploading the index.php up to your root to see if that helps...

But yes upgrade if you want to get Help here as only the last 2 versions of CMS Made Simple are supported...
