Hello all

I read a lot about GNU and looked through the FAQ on the CMSMS page but cannot find a clear answer. I am not even sure if this is the right forum to post my question - if not, please move it to where it belongs. Thanks.

My question:
I am using CMSMS on many pages and so far always included a note like "powered by CMS Made Simple" or simlar in the footer. A new client reqests to eliminate that note and (besides that I'd like to spread the word about this fabulous CMS :) ) I am not sure if that is possible at all under the GNU licence?

Thanks!

On frontend pages you can remove the CMSMS copyright notice, there is no problems with that.

On the admin pages you can create your own admin theme and remove any reference to CMS Made Simple UNLESS the license of some of the 'non core' modules that you download prohibit it.

i.e:  ALL modules authored by me prohibit removing all credits to CMSMS from the admin pages.

It was only requested to be removed from the front end, so no problem there..

Thanks for your quick reply!
