HTML Entities are encoded in translations center

				Hi,
I have issues with Translations Center (
http://translations.cmsmadesimple.org/). Sometimes I need to use HTML entities for translation, e. g.
Force <p> rootblock
Forces the returned content to at least be enclosed in a <p>-tag
However, during saving HTML entities at the right side they are automatically encoded in its HTML tags representation. This breaks the display of the translated strings on the website later. Any idea how to fix it?
Thank you

Translation center needs a rework - I've tried to use most times other words (without entities).

erf you're right...same pb for me

Translation center needs a rework
yea i'm agree with you... It is very difficult for translators to follow developments in the lang files, either verbatim or in a large block of text like 'help' or 'how to use' !
If I can help on this subject precisely, you can count on me

I've made a lot of suggestions since some years (2006/2007), but no results, only bla bla

it is understandable on the part of the team to focus its efforts on developing CMSMS rather than the translation part. but I agree with you: TC deserve a makeover.
At least a better use of language files for module developers. Make better cutting f the large text :/

Calguy has already been working on a replacement/extension of the Translation Center.

A replacement for the CMS Translation Center this module will allow website administrators easier access to editing module_custom files, and contribute to the translation process. It will allow easy creating and editing of the module_custom files which allow overriding lang strings on a local install, and also translating an module to another language. Site administrators wil have the ability to share their translations back to the translation team. Additionally, it will allow translating uninstalled modules in much the same way the athe current translation center allows, authorized personell will be able to commit translations back to the svn repository.

Any discussion is good

I have my answer and be "glad" I am not alone with this issue. I will try "to use ... other words (without entities)" as cyberman suggested.
