Hello,
I own and operate a web design & development business, and have a client who needs to have a an advanced Members Only area  - which they can edit and maintain mostly themselves. It would be for a large Anglican Church in Canada.

Can you please tell me if CMS Made Simple would have features / functionalities to do this ?

Any suggestions and help most appreciated.

Please get back to me asap.

Best regards,

Hi, can anyone please offer their thoughts ?

Features I would need is: a way to private (password protect) members only area, for parish lists, rostas, financial statements, vestry meetings etc.

The church would edit / manage everything themselves.

owner,

Base to get that up and running are the implementation of the modules FrontEndUser management in combination with CustomContent.
All that you would like to secure would be part of this (or rather behind that border). Other content would do without it.
See as a starter:

a. You can simply assign what pages back end users can edit. (basic, "out of box" solution for the back end users).
b. There is a module "CGUserDirectory". (highly customizable module for the front end users).

Thank you so much.  This really helps...

I wonder if there are any websites which you know about, so I can visit and see the features added ?

Please suggest other Modules or features/functionalities that the Members Area should have.

I am new to CMS Made Simple; so need lots of direction.. But we are definately going ahead :)

Thanks so much.

CGUserDirectory is also extremely useful for this kind of website.
