How to set user permissions correctly?

Hi all,

I just installed our web site these days and I'm more and more impressed by this awsome piece of code (CMSMS 0.12.2)!

There's one thing that actually I don't really understand and I'm sure I oversaw s'thing; maybe you guys can help me out here:

I would like to set up a group of users so they only are able to modify pages they own.
The background is that I have a couple of coworkers who I want to give the possibility to modify their "About me" pages.

So I set up a new group but didn't figure out how to set the permissions that users belonging to this group can only change pages they own.  I only found the tag "Modify any page", if I tag this, users can screw up my entire site, if I untag this the users apparently are not allowed to modify any page at all...

Sorry for this trivial question
regards

if you set them up as users, and don't check that 'Modify any Page', make they're page and go to the options tab on the Content > Pages > Edit Page: they'repage  you will see near bottom "Owner:"  set them as owner and they will be able to edit it and the admin will still be able to edit it...

Yepp, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the fast reply and the tip.

Bummer, I was sure I tried that one out before... Might have forgotten to hit the "submit" button.  ::) Stupid me!

Thanks again!

BTW: i've yet to find a way to keep them from putting the page any where on the menu they want... hopefully they wont know what the Parent dropdown is for  ;)

:o Oops, I totally forgot about that....

Well, I better be next to them with a whip behind my back when they start editing their pages...  :D

This has been worked out, I believe, in the latest ver. you will find an option for modifying page structure along with the original modify any page permission, so they can mess with the pages you give them and not change the menu placement...

Sort of fixed

I have the "Modify Page Structure" option unchecked, yet the user can still add a page under any other parent page.... Even if they don't have permission to edit that parent page.

Any ideas on how to solve that one?
Thanks
