IMPORTANT An issue that will keep reappearing during upgrades by others

There's an issue that will keep reappearing and showing its ugly self more often with the many changes and upgrades in CMSMS core.
Specifically, people will keep to:
1) Get a warning if they used multiple content blocks within IF statements, for example. Not critical, but wanted to get it off my chest.
2) More importantly, They will lose their admin panel formatting if they upgrade a module that a) requires a higher PHP version, b) has been rewritten to rely on another module, or c) has been rewritten completely.
The only reason for this post is to warn people that being enthusiastic about upgrading everything to the latest version can VERY EASILY bring their website down. If there isn't even a warning that, for example, a module has been rewritten completely to no longer rely on Products, but on cgcommercebase, then should it not be so easy to upgrade an existing and working website/module???
