Is there a way to allow certain groups to only edit certain pages? Eg. North Berkshire group only able to edit north berkshire page and sub pages and/or north berkshire events/news catagories.

At the moment you need to specify page editing permissions for every user individually
this will change in future...

Ok - so I've been trying to find where I can set individual user page permissions (as mentioned 2 above), but can only find the group permissions. I have seen that in the individual pages there is an 'additional editors' box, but I can't delete the additional editors that are in there. How can I do this - I wil, only have about 10 back end users so it will be not to much of a job to go in and edit the page permissions manually.
Thanks!

well you could try and make 10 groups and set the permissions like it was an individual, and put 1 user in each group.....
i'm tying to find a way to keep them from being able to set the parent for they're pages... they could put they're page up front on the main menu or any where... especialy if they aren't too sure about what they are doing....

Sorry - I'm not making sense. Let me ask that again in english! How do I edit an individual user's permissions (and I bet the answer is obvious and I feel a fool).
I need to allow an individual user to only edit certain pages, not all pages. Is this possible and if so how?
Thanks!
John

create new group for that user which doesnt have "modify all pages" permission set
then when editing a page select that user from "additional editors" list (you can select multiple users holding ctrl key)
