Any remaining modules still a problem for 1.8 upgrade?

Was cataloger fixed for 1.8?

Are there any modules that people need to watch out for doing any upgrades?

I would like to document this on an upgrade instructions wiki page.

I had a nightmare trying to get play working and had to use avplayer instead which isn't quite as simple to use
