Older CMSMS version with PHP 5.1.6

My web host seems to be using PHP 5.1.6; is there a CMSMS version I can download that would "match" that?

I'm completely new to CMSMS (or any CMS)

I know they says that "Web server with PHP 5.2.4+ for core versions after 1.7" but any possibility to update to 1.8.2 if I have PHP Version 5.1.6? Anyone tried?

You can't use v1.8.2 with php 5.1.x
I have just got the server admin to update the server for this very issue
use v1.6.8 or update php
