Helping with documentation?

Hello Documentation Team,
I'm still new to cmsms, but I like it very much, and I thought: "Hey, I could write things I find out into that wiki..."
Unfortunately I'm too stupid to log in
I alway get the following message:
Login error: You have not specified a valid user name.
Hmmm, I'm quite sure that I exactly used the login name of this forum, so - what's the trick?
Greetings,
Dirk

Hmm. Chances are that there is a bug in the bridge code. I'll take a look into it sometime tonight and see if I can figure it out.

No, but my first guess was that it might have to do something with my underscore. Didn't want to change my name directly, though. I think I will wait for Teds investigations.
Good Night for now (00:30 here, gotta work tomorrow).

So, without researching it any... read the last line in this:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/SMF/Users_Integration
I wonder if the problem is mediawiki or smf (my guess is mediawiki).

Deleted dirk_salewski and reopened new account and "ping" - everything works as advertised. Thank You, Ted.

No problem.
Granted, it's not the solution I really want, but it solves the problem for now.
