Print button

Hello

Took me too long, but the print button, called by an old template as
{print showbutton=true script=true}
no longer works.

An empty page is displayed if the button is clicked. Printing a page directly will produce a printer-friendly page directly.

1) Why isn't the Printing module not listed in the forge?

2) Is that still a valid way to call the module?

3) I have enabled pretty URLs and output compression. If I test-call the module on a test page http://mkrd.info/?page=print an error page is displayed.

4) What should I be using for a "print this page button?

Looks like a correct call to me except no "  "  around the parameters, maybe go back and read the Help again...

"" are there so that the string is not interpreted by Smarty. It's in curly brackets of course. The call does not work, however.

So the "Printing" module - is it still the best way to show the print button? Why did it produce a blank page?

I see the print button in 1.8.1 default install themes and it seems like it works just fine...
