Not sure if this can be done (video playback from passed variable)

Hi
I'm no great coder so I may be pushing way beyond my capabilities but I have a file list of quicktime videos on a page thanks to the file list module and wondered if it would be possible to embed quicktime on a page so that when the links to the videos are clicked that they play in the quicktime player.
I say quicktime because the video files are in m4v format but anything that can play them would do the trick.
Any help would be really appreciated as always.

Thanks for the reply.
I have been playing around with Flowplayer and can now play the video files however I am after someone who has more experience than I do with flowplayer.
What I would ideally like is to have the first page simply list the video links so that the videos can be downloaded easily but when clicked have a lightbox open that will have a flowplayer embedded that plays the video.
I've posted on the flowplayer forums but I thought it would be worth mentioning here just incase someone can help with this.

Thanks

I think you will have a real hard time getting one link to do 2 things...

Hi Dr CSS
I have thought the same and if it is indeed an issue I think adding a play button graphic along side the url may do the trick. I have to admit it has been far more complicated than I initially thought.
Thanks for the feedback

Now having 2 buttons, 1 for play 1 for DL is a good idea...
