(FEU) Auto Create Users without Requiring Registration

CMSMS 1.8 / FEU 1.10.1 / Orders 1.8.6 / Cart 1.6.2
I want to allow customers to checkout without having to register for an account first. I understand the reasoning for forcing users to have an account, but it is not appropriate in situations where making sales is a higher priority than keeping track of membership info. It would be great to have an option to "allow checkout without membership" within the Orders preferences tab.
Then, a new user could be created from the billing and shipping info entered during checkout and emailed to the user upon order completion.
Has anyone done this already that wouldn't mind sharing the code?
