Hi, I'm trying to setup a cms made simple site using godaddy to host my site.  I can't seem to figure out how to get the php working.  The cpanel says I have php 5.x.  Here's my site I'm trying to make...

http://montcalmcomputers.com/index.php

When going to this, you get this...

I think I have all the permissions correctly setup in the directories where the files are at.

I've been following instructions on this site...

http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... ck_Install

I'm not a unix expert, but I think the chmod 666 is read and write for the user, group and everyone.  I can't chmod the file on godaddy or using my ftp program, so I just logged in using my ftp program and changed the permissions to the equivalent.  That's at step 5.  Step 6 just had me create users in my sql database control panel.  I did that.

Step 7 says the web setup should start working by going to the install link above or by going directly to it at...

www.montcalmcomputers.com/install/index.php

This link doesn't work at all... acts like the index.php isn't there.  It is.

Any suggestions on what I should check?

1. You need to contact GoDaddy, because what you're experiencing (relative to php code being displayed instead of parsed) is not a CMSMS issue.

2. Once you have PHP working, you need to verify and re-verify that you uploaded your CMSMS files to the root of your website, and not to a subdirectory.  If you uploaded to a subdirectory, you obviously need to run the install from the subdirectory path, not the root.
