[Solved] Embargo posts in CGBlog?

Hi - I suspect I'm just being stupid, but I can't see a way to embargo posts in the CGBlog module without setting an expiration date. That is - the "Post Date" seems to have no effect on when the article will appear (if it's set in the future, it will still appear in the current summary view). The "Expiration Date" does stop it being displayed if the start date hasn't been reached, but you can't not specify an end date. I mean, I can set the end date to 2025, sure, but that's at best inelegant and at worst (assuming my blog will be long-lasting & successful!!!) one day the archives will start to decay.
Am I missing something?

If you want embargo, then you will need expiration. And indeed expiration is the combination of Startdate + Enddate, so you cant leave the enddate empty when you only want it to appear from a certain date/time.
So setting a expiration date way ahead is the only option in this... currently...

Ah, OK - thanks. At least I'm not missing anything, and we've got 15 years to come up with a solution (not quite as serious as the Millennium Bug issue, though!!!).

Well,
you could either file a FeatureRequest in the forge, or use some logic that unchecks the expiration tick for all running entries.

Thanks - Feature Request added.
