CGCalendar - Display Daily events

Hi,
Using CGCalendar to showcase a schedule of daily fitness classes - hence, I have multiple events happening on any given day.
I need to showcase the current day's events on the site home page and can't quite figure out how to do this. Attempting to use display=upcominglist and customizing an upcoming template to feature just that day's events but coming up short. Any pointers in the right direction would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance!
