Basically any client of mine that wants a website for their business.
This site, could have high levels of access, and potential hacking attempts.
Also it needs to have lots of options and configuration settings for me to keep different peoples needs met.
Finally it needs to not have any errors in the program code.

I have been installing cmsms for two other organizations. So far my experience is that lack of user manuals the biggest drawback. Things like setting up a page and so on. You want the organization to be independent about managing their conent, and not call you every time they need to fix a typo. This seems to be slowly improving through the cmsms wiki project. The cmsms admin panel is most of the time very self-explainable, this really helps a lot.
I'm no security expert, but I think cmsms is secure enough. The webhost service provider plays a role here too and what kind of extra modules you install as well. Extra modules does not nessesary goes through the cmsms teams code review (errr....I think.... ).
When it comes to options and configuration it's up to you to know the strenght and limitations around cmsms. I've tried out a few other cms systems, one of them had a lot of options and configuration possibilites. It's installed code base was around 60Mb. In this case I've would use a lot more time to get familiar with all the choices available. Cmsmadesimple is module based, and I think this is one of it's strengths. If some functionallity is missing you have a possibility to write your own or perhaps someone already has made one for you already.
If you want to configure cmsms for customers I suggest you choose versions ending with X.XX.1 (eg. like 0.12.1). By this version numbering various bugs have been fixed and code improved.
