TinyMCE not working properly.

Hi,
In another thread I asked about popup images and DrCSS kindly responded with an answer that made sense.
Following up on that answer, I have found that TinyMCE does not work as expected.

I normally do not like wysiwyg editors so have not tried using it before, preferring plain text editors, so i did not discover this problem with my installation until late yesterday.

When using the toolbar buttons like 'insert image'  'charmap' 'anchor', all I see is the Firefox download manager telling me that downloading for example, 'image.htm' is finished, and then a small empty box in the center of the screen with no buttons except the 'x' to close it.
It is a javascript box and obviously should be pointing me to something.

Do I have a problem that can be fixed?

I would appreciate any answers.

Thank you
Andy

Do you have any popup blockers, any yellow ! or red X in your system info page, can you post your system info, it almost sounds like you need to use the static config in tiny?...

I use Firefox with adblock and have never had any problems...
