Hello all!

I have a website - www.siphon-marketing.com which is on CMSMS v1.6.6

Everything's been working fine for weeks but now I can no longer log in to make edits!

I get to the admin login screen, enter my credentials and it just refreshes the page...no 'wrong password'...no error message...NADA!

I use this same version for multiple clients and most are hosted at hostgator and they're all working fine.

Please help me!

Len

p.s. if the solution is to reinstall...I just want to make absolutely sure I won't lose my pages or templates. If I check to NOT replace the database am I safe???

Can you not log in via cPanel/Plesk and check your data, including your login?

It would also be a good opportunity to do a backup whilst you where there.

Howdy!

I know my data's intact as the site is fine. Just for some reason I can't log into the administrator to make any edits.

Extremely weird but I'm 'dead in the water!'

Howdy!

I need to clarify for everyone...I KNOW my login credentials I just can't log in!

It just refreshes the login page, no error, no 'invalid password/username'...nothing.

I sure hope somebody has a solution for me.

Thanks so much!

Len

if everything has been working fine for weeks, and then 'all of a sudden'  something breaks, and you didn't do anything
I would start checking with your host to see what they changed, and read your error logs for any hints.

If nothing in the software changed, it's probably not a CMSMS issue.  Hosts have a habit of changing settings on people without telling anybody.  and THAT is usually the problem.
