Hi,

I was running an update (1.6.7 to 1.7.1) this morning, beeing not aware that my hosters php version was 5.2.0.8 instead of the requiered 5.2.4... I've tried to fix it with an .htaccess file, but it didn' worked out. A call made clear that they would update their php version only if they can charge me for it. I have to talk to my client about this.

So I tried to get the site running. Crash. Called the hoster, asked him to delete all files, they did it. Then I reloaded the backup, which works fine so far. The only issue: I don't have single menupoint any more. The sites are available inĀ  the admins panel, but they aren't in the frontend. The menumanager templates are where they should be.

What happend? Any ideas how to solve this?

thanks
leerraum

Hi leerraum,

Some first thoughts...
- Clear Cache
- Are all stylesheets still attached to the HTML template?
- Is the {menu} call in the template correct? start_level, etc...
- Is in the {menu} tag the right menu template? (with or without .tpl)
- All pages attached to the right template?
- Got a link?
- ...
- ...

grtz. Rolf

hi rolf,

I've deinstalled and reinstalled all modules and now I'm restoring module by module. not the best way, but I can't figure out another. And at least my menupoints are back.

All info and relationships are stored in DB so you had to backup and then restore DB first. Usually it is a 5 min job.
