[Solved] Please help me convert my HTML/CSS menu into menu manager

I am a brand new web designer.  I've taken the time to read a few books, and also bought the CMSMadeSimple book.  After having read them I have embarked on my first project.

I have made what I think is a really nice menu in .html and .css.  The friend who I am making the site for loves it, issue is that I cannot for the life of me work out how to get it to work in CMSMadeSimple.

The issues I face are that I have used a few emply li items to hang the top and bottom images off for the menu.  In addition, when the menu opens into sub levels different images have to be used.

If anyone is prepared to spend the time to try and help me I will be really grateful.  If we can make this work I will be more than happy for this to become a template that can be used on this site.

The site is not yet hosted so I have attached an example .html file and the .css to make it work.  Its all a work in progress, and I have spent sooooo long making it so far I just don't want to start again :(

Thanks in advance

If you installed default content it's one of the menus that come with it...

Yeah, I did install the default content, but thought "how hard can it be to convert my own menu" and deleted the content  :'(

Anyway, I have since reinstalled stuff and I am well away.  Thanks for pointing me to that template, saved me many hours.  ;D

We spent many hours on those default templates/menus to give you something to work with, best practice is to copy whatever you want to change, template or style sheet, so you have something to go back to if you run into any trouble...

Agreed, hindsight is great  :D

I was so new to all of this that when I started I did not know how to copy stuff, or even backup the database lol.  I'm well away atm, the book is helping loads.  So, hopefully my first site will be up within a week or two.  Then no doubt there will be a stream of questions and suggestions from people on the forum  ;)
