hi,
i installed the latest version of CMSmadesimple today; the basic installation went very smoothly. i'm still learning how to use the application and have come across something which (after reading documentation) may be a problem with my installation. when i try to edit the contents of a page:
- the edit content page appears
- there is nothing in the "content" section
- there are no editing tools above the "content" section
- it is not possible to write anything in the "content" section
can anyone help? do i need some javascript enabled on my server? some dynamic content that my browser is not permitting. any help gratefully appreciated.

It sounds like FCKeditor is not loading for some reason.  Check and make sure you have Javascript enabled in your browser.

What browser are you using?  Safari, for example, doesn't work very well is WYSIWYGs.  It's a limitation of the browser.

I've had this same issue after moving a site from one location to another.  I'm such a newbie, I have no clue how to fix it, other than to uninstall.  The site pages all looked fine. But, even though I could log in to the admin area, I could not edit anything as there was no place to do so, and no way to get to the source code for the page. I'm still struggling with my site move (have totally wrecked the site at present, which is pretty frustrating...)  Perhaps my last problem was that I inadvertently installed a different version of CMSmadessimple? I have discovered that the new host for my site uses a different version of PHP and MySQL...could that be creating these types of problems?  Could it be a permissions issue? (habe checked that, but maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks to you all for creating such a wonderful cms and forum.
