I don't know if this belongs in this section or in the tips and tricks section, so here we go.
I it possible to disable the news module from requiring to have the content? Or if it's easier just to have default content added by default then hide the content text box.

Just like adding a page you need to put content in the Content box, you can skip the summary box but you have to put content in the Content box...
