I am new CMSMS user, I have a very simple question for which I could not find answer in the documentation. How can I make the site inaccessible while I am working on it ? If I make all pages "inactive", then still one page is visible. Can anyone point me to documentation regarding this issue, thanks.

You can put it in a subfolder, or easier still is to put a blank index.html in root or an index.html with site under construction, or make a page saying site under construction with no menu call in the template and have that set as not shown in menu and set as default page...

I already have it in a subfolder, I was thinking it is still google searchable, but maybe this can not be avoided. Thanks for your suggestions, I will have a look at it.

The solution was actually simple, I put the site in a subfolder and put a password protection on that folder, now I will switch off the google search as you suggested. Thanks for your reply.
